I was born in 1982 in Mashhad, Iran. I was interested in art since my childhood. I started my art activities when I entered Shahed 13th secondary school. There was a professional art studio and educating there was a chance to expertise different art activities such as painting and sculpturing. Our art teacher, Mr. Shaddeh, spent a lot of time on our training. His class was a valuable experience for me.

The first year of high school was spent in Mirza Koochak Khan’s high school, Mashhad. According to my tendency to art I chose Graphic as my major for the second year.  And continued my education in graphic in Ershad Fine Arts Conservatory. Mr. Mehran Sadrosadat and Ali Sadati-Poor were ones of the experts and number one artists in Mashad that were teaching in Ershad School too. And being trained by them was a real honor to me. Meanwhile, beside the school activities, an inner sensation led me to participate in crafts (etching on copper) and traditional music of Iran (Santoor). After getting know these kinds of arts, there was no doubt on choosing art in university. I was accepted in craft at Tabriz Islamic Art University and a new series of my artistic activities was started.

In our studios of university, I experienced variety of methods and fields that has been common in Iran. And the tendency of working with clay led me to the ceramic. I had outstanding professors in B.A such as Jafar Najibi, Peiman Sajadi and Omid Ghajarian who had the most inspiration on me in my career and my artistic personality. After passing technical ceramic studios in the fourth year, I got much more familiar with technical and capability of this art. My final project in B.A was re-reading Mantegho alteir Attar’s story in a form of ceramic birds in the university campuses. A new sensation of Persian literature in relation with architectural environment of university is the outstanding characteristic of it.

Being accepted in Islamic Master of Art in ceramic field, was a chance to finalize the experience activities in pottery. Meanwhile, I took part in National Biennial of Contemporary Iranian Ceramic and received the special present of referee committee. One of the great professor who I had the chance to be his student is Mr. Mohammad Mahdi Anoushfar. The sensation of making sculptures related to environment and architectural spaces led me to the idea of Environmental Ceramic which had a lot in common with my previews project, Simorgh and other previews ones. This subject made me close to Prof. Nadalian and his guides helped me to do my final project in M.A.

Right after graduation in Tabriz University, I started teaching there. Since I had a close relationship with professors, friends and my students, we ran great group projects and the things I had always had the dream of doing them was done by my group. Finalizing the sculpture kiln, making different wood-fired kiln, ecologic ceramic studio in poloor, Hormoz Island and Salakh are the special and memorable works of this time. At the moment I am the student of Shahed Tehran University and my treatise which is about local ceramic of Iran and ecology is under the supervision of Prof. Nadalian.
